We’re the only company in the industry that reacts to mosquito behavior. Without a set schedule, we can adapt to your yard's needs and the mosquitoes around it.
On average, we visit every 10-17 days to ensure a mosquito-free lifestyle.
Our special blend began 20 years ago and we continually evolve it to maximize effectiveness.
Science created our formula, and science continues to adapt it so it remains the most effective spray in the game.
All of our technicians are trained in environmentally smart practices. They target active mosquito areas and are taught the signs to recognize them.
This means less overall spraying, more dead mosquitoes, and a healthy ecosystem in your backyard.
If you’re not happy with our services, let us know. We’ll work hard to make it right, including offering a service call spray if needed.
If you’re unhappy with the results after your first visit, simply notify us within 7 days and we will issue you a full refund.
Welcome to Mosquito Shield of Southeastern Pennsylvania. Mosquito Shield is setting the industry standard for residential mosquito control and tick control services by utilizing a proprietary blend of natural oils, select control products and a flexible spraying schedule that maximizes effectiveness. The Mosquito Shield company was founded in 2001 in direct response to the absence of an effective and affordable mosquito barrier spray. The company developed a patent pending mosquito control barrier spray that when started in the early spring would last for weeks and grow in strength as the mosquito season progressed.
The Southeastern Pennsylvania Mosquito Shield franchise was established in 2013 with Tina and Rick Brogan taking the helm and bringing this innovative mosquito and tick control solution to the Southeast, PA region. “The dense population as well as Southeastern Pennsylvania’s topography, with its rolling hills and lowlands make it an area filled with Mosquito hotspots,” said Tina Brogan. “Moreover, more warm weather has meant longer breeding seasons for insects, among others recently bringing the Asian Tiger Mosquito to Southeastern Pa. The prevalence of ticks has also been affected, never more than in our own backyard- in 2013 Pennsylvania reported nearly 5,000 cases of Lyme disease, more than any state in the country, and a recent April 2015 DEP study revealed the Lyme risk for the first time in all 67 counties of Pa, further strengthening the need for effective tick control services in Southeastern, Pennsylvania.
The Brogans, both natives of the region, were on a quest to find a service related business where they could utilize their experience and make a difference in their community. They bring a wealth of sales, management, marketing and entrepreneurial experience to their Mosquito Shield of Southeastern Pennsylvania franchise. Both have developed, launched, and nurtured businesses at varying levels. “It’s really a lifestyle thing,” said Brogan, “we echo the sentiments of so many of our customers who’ve said we’ve changed their lives through proper mosquito or tick control services in Southeastern Pennsylvania. As homeowners ourselves who enjoy entertaining frequently on our back deck in the summer months, the value of living mosquito and tick free without having to use repellents was clear,” said Brogan. “Add to that the growing concern with West Nile and Triple E virus and Lyme disease, and we became very enthusiastic about providing a valuable needed pest control service to our Southeastern Pennsylvania region.”Call Me
We use an insecticide so other insects present when and where we spray may be impacted.
However, our formula was specifically engineered for mosquitoes so it won’t repel any other insects as it does mosquitoes.
Every yard is different but you should notice a dramatic reduction within 24-48 hours of the initial spray.
With each subsequent treatment, the results continue to improve, allowing you to enjoy time outside without being chased in by swarms of mosquitoes.
