    Frequently Asked Questions

    01. What other insects will this affect?
We use a control product so other insects present when and where we spray may be impacted.

However, our formula was specifically engineered for mosquitoes so it won’t repel any other insects as it does mosquitoes.
    02. Will your product work after storms?
Yes, we have specifically engineered our formula to outlast storms. With a special polymer layer that provides weather resistance, our formula will remain effective.
    03. Is there any environment you cannot treat?
Yes, there are some areas we won’t spray to avoid the surrounding environments. Pools, natural water sources, vegetable gardens, and artificial water sources complete the list.

Because water could easily spread the insecticides, we never directly apply our product to it. However, the rest of the property can still be sprayed and it will drastically reduce the population of mosquitoes.
    04. Does this product work on all mosquitoes and ticks ?
Yes, we target aspects of mosquitoes and ticks that don’t change from species to species.

The killing and repelling aspects of our product will work on any species of mosquitoes and ticks .
    05. What about my children and pets?
Pets and children should be inside during each application. However, they can re-enter the property once the product has dried, roughly 10-15 minutes. At that point, there are no restrictions until the next application.
    06. When can I start to see the effects?
Every yard is different but you should notice a dramatic reduction within 24-48 hours of the initial spray.

With each subsequent treatment, the results continue to improve, allowing you to enjoy time outside without being chased in by swarms of mosquitoes.
    07. Why do we see more mosquitoes after it has rained?
Mosquitoes are more abundant after it rains because standing water is where they breed.

Adult, female mosquitoes will lay their eggs in water. Once fully submerged, the countdown begins and the eggs can hatch in as little as a few days.

    General Service Questions

Why are there so many mosquitoes in my yard?
Mosquitoes are drawn to yards with standing water for breeding and shady, humid areas where they can rest during the day. In Covington, mosquitoes can also fly in from nearby properties, even when your yard has no obvious breeding sites. Our mosquito-control service targets the sheltered areas where they gather, helping reduce activity around your outdoor living spaces.
What can I do to reduce mosquitoes around my home?
Professional mosquito treatments can help reduce the mosquitoes that gather around patios, decks, and other places you spend time outdoors. Our service focuses on shrubs, shaded vegetation, and other suitable treatment areas where adult mosquitoes rest. Recurring visits help manage mosquito activity as new mosquitoes arrive and conditions around your property change.
Does professional mosquito control actually work?
Professional mosquito control can reduce mosquito activity and make your yard more comfortable to use. Our treatments target adult mosquitoes where they rest, and repeat visits help address continued activity throughout the season. Results vary with weather, surrounding habitat, and mosquito pressure, so the goal is ongoing substantial reduction rather than a guaranteed mosquito-free yard.
How often does my yard need mosquito treatment?
Mosquito-control treatments generally need to be repeated because mosquitoes continue to develop nearby and move into your yard. Our service typically includes visits every 10–17 days, with timing guided by local mosquito activity, weather, and property conditions. This recurring approach helps maintain more consistent control as mosquito pressure changes.
What about my children and pets?
Children and pets should stay indoors and away from treated areas during an application. Afterward, they should remain off treated areas until the application has fully dried and your technician’s recommended waiting period has passed. As part of our service, we explain these precautions so you know when your family and pets can return to the yard.
How much does mosquito control cost in Covington?
Mosquito-control costs depend on the property being treated and the service plan selected. Our free quote outlines the recommended service for your yard, including treatment frequency and pricing. This gives you a clear understanding of what is included and what ongoing mosquito control will cost before service begins.
