At Mosquito Shield of Wichita, Kansas, their goal is to provide the best quality mosquito control service with the highest levels of customer service, allowing customers to enjoy their yards, homes, and time with family to the fullest.
Owners Gary and Robin Haines have lived in the Wichita area for over 2 years. They moved from Illinois to be closer to their daughter and her husband in Andover, and of course two wonderful grandchildren. Gary and Robin have a total of six children and six grandchildren. They were excited to get back to more of America’s heartland and own some land, with both being born and raised in Nebraska.
Gary has been in the Information Technology and Cybersecurity profession for 33 years; retired from the U.S. Air Force, and currently works for a major aerospace corporation. Robin is a nurse by education but has predominantly worked in early childcare; she is currently a licensed home day care provider with their daughter. Gary and Robin are first time business owners but after 26 years in the Air Force of leading and building teams from as small as 10 to as large as 260 people, all working towards a common mission, they believe they have a foundation to build and operate a successful business. Gary states, “That common mission always had customers we had to work closely with in order to ensure we met or exceeded their expectations.” That’s exactly what they will strive to do for each and every one of their Mosquito Shield customers!
Gary and Robin love everything the Wichita area has to offer, especially it being the Air Capital of the World, but their favorite place to visit with family is the Sedgwick County Zoo. It is such a beautiful zoo, and the variety of animals is amazing. They see and learn something new every time they visit. They also love to enjoy a delicious meal at Il Vicino Wood Oven Pizza, located in the College Hill area of Wichita, and at Stearman Airfield Bar & Grill.

We use an insecticide so other insects present when and where we spray may be impacted.
However, our formula was specifically engineered for mosquitoes so it won’t repel any other insects as it does mosquitoes.
