Friendly Red’s Tavern has long been a cornerstone of the community, known for its welcoming atmosphere and one of the most popular outdoor dining spaces in the area. However, as any restaurant owner in Strafford County knows, a beautiful patio can quickly become a liability when the New Hampshire summer brings heavy mosquito pressure and the looming threat of ticks.
Turbo Cam had invested in a very comfortable, designated outdoor break area for their employees to enjoy during their shifts. However, the facility’s proximity to dense trees and wooded areas created a severe environmental pest pressure: ticks.
The infestation reached the point where ticks were visibly crawling up the exterior walls of the commercial building. Understandably, employees no longer felt safe or comfortable eating their meals outside or walking around the perimeter, completely abandoning the outdoor space management had built for them.
The primary goal was to reclaim the outdoor space so employees could safely enjoy their breaks and walk the grounds without the looming threat of ticks.
To achieve this, we implemented a comprehensive, targeted treatment plan:
Complete Perimeter Defense: We treated the entire exterior of the building as well as the surrounding transitional areas between the woods and the facility.
Zero Operational Disruption: To ensure the safety and comfort of the staff, all treatments were scheduled for the early morning. This allowed the outdoor areas to dry and be fully ready for safe use throughout the day and evening shifts without interrupting daily business operations.
The treatment yielded immediate and undeniable results. During follow-up verifications, zero tick activity was detected on the building exterior.
