At Mosquito Shield of Downtown Atlanta, Georgia, our goal is to provide the best mosquito control service with the highest levels of customer service, allowing our customers to enjoy your homes, backyards, and time with family to the fullest.
Owner Paul Heaton plans to maintain a family owned and operated business. Paul will be managing the mosquito and tick control service business in downtown Atlanta, and servicing our customers as we launch supported by his wife Mindy and plan to add carefully selected new team members as they grow to meet their exacting standards of customer service.
Mindy was a competitive swimmer, swim coach, and trainer before she moved into managing gyms. She is currently a Regional Financial Specialist for Lifetime Fitness. Paul has 20 years experience working for auto manufacturers and has consulted with Sales, Finance, Parts and Service departments to grow their business and improve customer satisfaction. Since receiving his Masters Degree in Business Administration in 2019, he has been working as an independent consultant in the automotive and call center industries.
Paul says, “I have been a long-time customer of mosquito control service treatments from competitors, and the results have varied. I have always worried about the environmental impact these treatments might have. Mosquito Shield’s commitment to having the least environmental impact possible and their dedication to the customer sealed the deal for me and my family.”
The Heaton family has moved many times through the years, but recently bought a house in the historic Riverside area of North West Atlanta. It is an up and coming area of the city and they are excited to help it continue to grow, which is why they chose this as their mosquito control business territory.
For fun, the Heatons enjoy the local restaurants and culture that the city has to offer. “We are foodies and love lots of restaurants, but if we have to choose just one at this point in time, it is Keegan’s in Vinings. We discovered this place before we moved back to Atlanta because a friend of ours plays Irish folk music.” They also love the High Museum of Fine art, “We discovered it when we lived in Atlanta previously and all it took was one visit and to fall in love. We were supporters of the museum for the rest of the time we lived here. We really enjoy some of the events they plan and are looking forward to continuing our support as we grow our business.”
Paul has always been driven by the desire to improve the customer experience and has always wanted to own his own company. The knowledge he has developed through years of helping businesses improve the customer experience and grow sales will be directly applicable to this new venture. He hopes to create the best customer experience in the mosquito and tick control industry.
We use an insecticide so other insects present when and where we spray may be impacted.
However, our formula was specifically engineered for mosquitoes so it won’t repel any other insects as it does mosquitoes.
Every yard is different but you should notice a dramatic reduction within 24-48 hours of the initial spray.
With each subsequent treatment, the results continue to improve, allowing you to enjoy time outside without being chased in by swarms of mosquitoes.
