At Mosquito Shield of Ann Arbor, Michigan our goal is to provide the best mosquito control services with the highest levels of customer service, allowing our customers to enjoy their backyards, homes and time with family to the fullest.
Owners Brandon & Yanika Baugh are a Husband-and-wife team with Yanika managing the day-to-day responsibilities and Brandon providing a supporting role. They have over 20 years of experience in the customer service industry. Customers aren’t just a number; they take pride in building long-lasting relationships with their customers. They see and treat their clients as family.
Brandon’s family first came to the Ann Arbor area back in the 70s when his great uncle was admitted to the University of Michigan. From that point on the Baugh family has lived in Ann Arbor and when the time came attended U of M for undergrad and in many instances graduate school as well. On the other hand, Yanika’s family is closely affiliated with MSU; her aunts and uncles are professors while many of her siblings and cousins have attended MSU for undergrad. After getting engaged in 2016 Yanika moved to Ann Arbor with Brandon but is quick to note that despite being in the shadow of the big house, she remains a Spartan at heart. We can’t forget Ann Arbors nickname “tree city”.
One of their favorite local restaurants is Northside Grill, which they have enjoyed since they were kids. The food is just as amazing as the welcoming environment. They also love visiting The Big House – they are a sports family and love to tailgate and attend football games. When asked what attracted them to Mosquito Shield, “The seasonality of the business was most attractive. We also strongly dislike mosquitos. The goal this 1st season is to build a strong foundation and presence within the community while attracting customers.”

We use an insecticide so other insects present when and where we spray may be impacted.
However, our formula was specifically engineered for mosquitoes so it won’t repel any other insects as it does mosquitoes.
Every yard is different but you should notice a dramatic reduction within 24-48 hours of the initial spray.
With each subsequent treatment, the results continue to improve, allowing you to enjoy time outside without being chased in by swarms of mosquitoes.
