At Mosquito Shield of Northern Delaware, our goal is to provide the best residential mosquito control service with the highest levels of customer service, allowing our customers to enjoy their yards, homes and time with family to the fullest.
Owners Scot and Rhiannon Huning met about 15 years ago at a wedding and have been living in Wilmington, Delaware for 4 years. Rhiannon has spent about a decade at CSC working in various roles that support other businesses. She has extensive experience working with state specific websites and doing filings for many different businesses. Scot was previously at NRG, one of the largest energy companies in the US. He managed the northeast sales territory and managed sales teams and campaigns. Currently he works for a company that builds sales teams for a variety of energy companies. While working with a franchise consultant Scot had the opportunity to explore several different opportunities, but was instantly drawn to Mosquito Shield’s business model and need for the mosquito and tick control service in the Northern Delaware community.
When they aren’t working, Scot and Rhiannon spend time outdoors at Bellevue State Park with their dog Dakota, a husky lab mix, and their daughter, McKenna. They love exploring the park and look forward to fishing in the pond as McKenna gets older. They also enjoy meals at the Belfonte Café (try the chicken cheesesteak!) and Scot loves local restaurant, Ulysses, for their food and amazing beer selection.
