Hi, we’re Keith and Kristy Brown and we’re the owners of Mosquito Shield of Wake County, North Carolina.
Our goal is to provide the best mosquito control service with the highest levels of customer service, allowing our customers to enjoy their yards, homes, and time with family to the fullest.
We have lived in Raleigh for 30 years with our 4 children. Raleigh and its surrounding areas offer a great place to live and raise a family: offering many education options, kids and family outdoor recreational activities, fabulous restaurants, and of course, ACC Sports. During football season, you will frequently find all of us tailgating before an NC State game.
Both Kristy and I have been in the Healthcare IT Corporate world for 25+ years and have always wanted to break out and own our own business. That’s why we started looking into franchising, and Mosquito Shield checked all the boxes.
We had actually been using a competitor of Mosquito Shield, but the service wasn’t very good. It wasn’t until we began looking into Mosquito Shield that we realized why.
Our services aren’t set for once a month and then left alone. We actively track mosquito populations and weather patterns to know when and where to spray. There’s a science behind what we do and it’s proven to work all across the country.
Combining our business experience and background with the top notch team at Mosquito Shield will provide an excellent foundation to build a successful business. Our mosquito and tick control service operation will be second to none and we’ll provide top-level customer service.
