We are passionate about bringing communities together. We love riding bikes, playing golf, and hosting our neighborhood backyard concert series. Our mission for Mosquito Shield is to help ourselves and others share meals outside, spend time with kids, and host gatherings without being swarmed by mosquitoes.
We, Caroline and Andrew Galloway, are native Midwesterners who moved to Dallas in 2017. After a few stops in Chicago, IL and Newport Beach, CA we landed in Dallas and have felt at home here ever since. Having attended SMU, I knew Dallas would be the perfect place to raise a family.
We are former foster parents and now have two adopted sons. Spending so much time outdoors made us realize we had to find a safe mosquito control solution. After looking at the market, we saw that an efficient mosquito solution was missing in the Northwest Dallas area and we began our path to joining the Mosquito Shield family.
We love riding bikes, playing golf, and hosting our neighborhood backyard concert series. I am an award-winning pitmaster and do not take barbecue lightly. Cattleack BBQ in Farmers Branch is my go-to spot for beef ribs. Slow Bone in downtown Dallas is my choice for coffee-rubbed brisket, and Ferris Wheeler’s for jalapeno cheddar sausage.
Outside of BBQ, Caroline and I enjoy local spots like Neighborhood Services and Jose in Preston Hollow, Subz-n-Stuff and Nosh and Bottle in Las Colinas, and Babes Chicken Dinner House in Carrollton.
Our family loves visiting local shops in the Bishop Arts District, and downtown Carrollton. You can find us golfing at Stevens Park Golf Course and exploring Sam Houston Trail Park.
I work in corporate finance and am a former management consultant. I love finding solutions to complex problems and designing efficient solutions for any kind of process.
Caroline is a former attorney and current corporate business development executive who has focused her career in helping community groups come together, solving complex problems, and helping people through crisis. We both are passionate about helping people enjoy life more.
