Owners Dustin and Vincent Defebo grew up in Pittsburgh and are now raising families and working in the area. Both owners share a passion for being outdoors whether riding bikes, hiking, skiing or playing sports. Dustin has had a 15+ year career in sales of B2B professional services. His skill set has lent itself well to developing and building territories that were previously untapped for the mosquito control organization. Vince has focused much of his career in the entertainment industry, previously working in production at Paramount Pictures and now as a Vice President of Production for a specialty production firm. His background lends itself well to complex operational procedures, project management and marketing initiatives at Mosquito Shield of North Pittsburgh, PA.
The two are particularly excited to share the Tick Shield program with their North Pittsburgh, PA community. They have had friends and family members impacted by Lyme disease, and the Tick Shield product has stood out as a tick control and prevention product that will be a major benefit for people in the North Pittsburgh area. The tick population in western PA has shown a 3.5 fold increase since 2004. They are eager to be a part of businesses like Mosquito Shield that has a direct human impact benefit.
