Owners Sergey Mikhaylov and Josh Klauber have been friends for over a decade. They met through their wives who worked together at school in Brooklyn, and they have been friends ever since.
Sergey has worked in customer facing sales for most of over 10 years delivering the value to each customer and exceeding their expectations, while Josh has worked at his family business since 2004 working in a variety of roles from messenger to Sales Vice President. Together they understand how to run a company, think strategically and manage customers and employees – setting them up well to take on a mosquito and tick control service business in Westchester County, NY.
Sergey says, “It was important to find a business that can make an impact on the quality of life for our customers. We believe that we are in the family reunion business, the backyard BBQ business — we are in the business of delivering more value to the home you already own by giving you more enjoyment during the precious warm months we have in the North East through effective mosquito control services throughout Westchester County, NY. We are parents of small children and we see that having a safe environment to play outside is very important. We see Mosquito Shield of Westchester County as a way to improve our customer’s daily lives and their valued family time with loved ones. We both love to spend our time outside and we want to make sure that the time spent with family is quality time free of pests and annoying interruptions.”
When he isn’t working, Sergey loves spending time at beautiful Rye Beach and then stopping at The Barley Beach House to grab a drink and cool down. He also frequents Captain Lawrence Brewery for the live music and excellent food and beer.
Josh adds, “Growing up in the Northeast we are VERY well acquainted with mosquitos (and ticks) and the misery they can bring. We use an insecticide so other insects present when and where we spray may be impacted.
However, our formula was specifically engineered for mosquitoes so it won’t repel any other insects as it does mosquitoes.
