Hi, my name’s Bill Murphy and I’m the owner of Mosquito Shield of North Suburban Chicago, Illinois.
Our goal is to provide the best mosquito and tick control service in the north suburbs of Chicago, IL with the highest levels of customer service, allowing our customers to enjoy their backyards, homes, and time with family to the fullest.
I was born in Chicago and grew up in the NW suburb of Arlington Heights. Being a lifelong resident myself, I attended high school here at Wheeling High and then attended the University of Illinois. I’m proud to call this place my home.
The reason I started my residential mosquito control company is rooted in my passion for helping others and making a positive impact in my community. I have always had a deep appreciation for the great outdoors and the beauty of nature, but I have also seen firsthand the negative impact that mosquitoes and other flying pests can have on people’s lives.
I remember spending my summers as a child with my family, enjoying the warm weather and spending time outside. However, my cousin had a severe allergy to mosquitoes and every time we went outside, she would spend most of her time indoors to avoid the discomfort and itchiness caused by mosquitoes.
I knew that I wanted to do something to help people like my cousin and to help others in my community. I did my research and found that there are many homeowners who are affected by mosquitoes and other flying pests and that there was a need for professional and effective mosquito control services in the area.
I started my residential mosquito control company with the goal of providing homeowners and their families with a safe and comfortable outdoor environment. I wanted to help people like my aunt enjoy their outdoor spaces without the worry of mosquitoes and other flying pests.
What I love about Mosquito Shield is the fact that we don’t just set a schedule for when your yard will be sprayed. We take into account the weather conditions of the area and come out to spray once every 10-17 days.
