Mosquito Shield of North Central Wisconsin is owned by William Prahl, a former technician of the location. William was born and raised in this territory and has spent about 30 years there. It’s a lake based industry here, which will make routing and strategic marketing campaigns more effective in scope-of-focus.
After a year as a technician at Mosquito Shield of North Central Wisconsin, he felt it was an opportunity that he could now manage and grow the business. William is a hard worker that takes suggestions and tailors service to how the customer wants it. As a technician for a year, he knows his customers, what they like and what they don’t like. The previous owners were well liked, and he bases his customer relations largely on their ethics and communication standards.
Locally you’ll find William in the Door County – Egg Harbor area. He finds it to be the most scenic part of Wisconsin with a California like wine culture. He also loves enjoying a delicious meal at El Tarasco in Minocqua, they have the best Mexican food around! When asked what excites you most about Mosquito Shield, ” I enjoy operating as a satellite business because I’m able to come to service people at their residence rather than comparing business formats with establishments. It makes for growth to risk ratio with competition more manageable and I think it’s an industry that is on its upward trend nationally.  Mosquito Shield has a good platform in branding that exceeds the regional competition as well as good business ties with franchising. What excites me most are unchartered territories throughout the Midwest and making my current territory a model for possible expansion.”
