Eastern Maryland Hi, my name’s Jamie Raul and I’m the owner of Mosquito Shield of Eastern Maryland.
I’m a 45 year old father of 2 and stepfather of 2. I’m engaged to the love of my life and excited to get married in the fall. I am a very family-oriented person and enjoy being outside with the kids and fiancé playing some kind of sport.
I grew up on the Eastern Shore. As a child I lived in Grasonville, then moved to Ridgely, and last year I built a new home with my fiance. Maryland Eastern Shore is unique because there is as much, if not more, water than land. It is comprised of small towns surrounded by farms and the Chesapeake Bay.
When I’ve got time to kill, I love being outside around the Chesapeake Bay. You can typically find me on the bay crabbing, fishing, or just going for a ride on a hot summer day.
When we’re hungry, Cohees 404 is the go to place for my family and I to eat. It’s a small local restaurant that has good food, service, and prices.
I am a self starter, enjoy challenges, and like to share my knowledge of the Chesapeake Bay and outdoors. For me, a combination of those three led to where I am today, Mosquito Shield.
I get to use my knowledge of the outdoors to solve mosquito control challenges across Eastern Maryland.
I started looking into mosquito control because my children and fiance couldn’t be outside without being eaten alive by mosquitoes. I wanted to make our yard more family friendly and accessible for everyone.
After looking into mosquito control services, I learned that there weren’t many options on the Eastern Shore. So, I began looking into starting my own mosquito control business.
When I began researching different possibilities, I saw that Mosquito Shield had the best service and product on the market.
It was proven to work in Maryland already and had a great reputation across the country. I knew it was a product I could trust to effectively eliminate mosquitoes.
They were dedicated to improving their customers’ outdoor experience.
I want to have a successful small business that I can grow while maintaining a good work/life balance. The dream is for one, or all of the kids, to take over and inherit my legacy built at Mosquito Shield.
I have experience running a small oyster aquaculture business. I built it from the ground up and have been successful year in and year out. Being on the Eastern Shore, I understand your word means a great deal in business. My past successes have heavily leaned on that very thing.
I have worked my way from the ground up with everything I’ve ever done. Working your way up from the bottom in any business you learn the value of hard work, reliability, and honesty. Those are traits I plan to bring to Mosquito Shield of Eastern Maryland.
Just as with my past businesses, Mosquito Shield of Eastern Maryland will be a trustworthy establishment. I believe in doing what I say I’m going to do and standing by my work.
