At Mosquito Shield of Central Macomb County, Michigan, our goal is to provide the best mosquito control with the highest levels of customer service, allowing our customers to enjoy your homes and time with family to the fullest.
Owners Josh and Carrie Isenhardt are a blended family with 3 children between them. They live in Shelby Township, Michigan where they enjoy restaurants, wine tastings, get-togethers with friends, and generally enjoying life with the people they love. They both love to read, learn, travel, and find new experiences and ways to grow. Carrie has lived in the metro Detroit area her entire life. Josh transplanted to Michigan from Georgia in 2005 and it has been home ever since. Both Josh and Carrie love Southeast Michigan for their community of family and friends, the park systems, and the incredible outdoor spaces their great state holds.
Carrie is a career social worker, currently serving hospice patients and their families. She is also a professor at Wayne State University where she teaches medical ethics. Throughout her career she has experienced success in both leadership and management. Josh was a pastor for 20 years before getting his graduate education in business. He currently serves in leadership development and business strategy/systems implementation at a small technology company. Josh has had success in business ownership, management, people/process development, sales/marketing, systems integration, and customer relationships. Both Carrie and Josh care deeply about serving others and bring their years of compassionate and thorough performance to this new mosquito and tick control business adventure in Macomb County, MI.
One of their favorite local spots is Vino and Vibes! It’s a local wine bar down in their little town square of Utica. The couple that owns it are super cool and they have created a special environment that has become sort of their “Cheers”. They also love River Bends Park. Whether it’s the mountain bike trails, paved paths, playground, a concert, or an art fair, it’s always a beautiful place to spend some time and get some exercise.
When asked what attracted them to Mosquito Shield, “We were attracted to Mosquito Shield for several reasons. First, we LOVE our outdoor spaces, but we HATE the bugs that come with them. To compound that, our daughter is hypersensitive to mosquito bites, causing skin sores that can last for weeks. Having the ability to be in our yard at any time without the worries or annoyances of pests is what family and togetherness is all about. With Mosquito Shield, we can bring that joy and convenience to families all over our community with a product that really works! We love that we sell results, not just treatments. We love that Mosquito Shield has spent years innovating toward efficiency and serving the customer above all else. We use an insecticide so other insects present when and where we spray may be impacted.
However, our formula was specifically engineered for mosquitoes so it won’t repel any other insects as it does mosquitoes.
Every yard is different but you should notice a dramatic reduction within 24-48 hours of the initial spray.
