Meet The Mosquito Shield of Downtown Atlanta, GA Franchise
At Mosquito Shield of Downtown Atlanta, Georgia, our goal is to provide the best mosquito control service with the highest levels of customer service, allowing our customers to enjoy your homes, backyards, and time with family to the fullest.
Owner Paul Heaton manages the daily operations of our family-owned business. He attended Colorado State University for both his Bachelor and Master of Business Administration degrees. Paul has always been driven by the desire to improve the customer experience and has always wanted to own his own company. He spent twenty years in the automotive industry, most of that time he consulted with dealerships for manufacturers. The knowledge he developed through years of helping businesses improve customer experience and grow sales is directly applicable to Mosquito Shield. He hopes to create the best customer experience in the mosquito and tick control industry. Paul says, “I have been a long-time customer of mosquito control service treatments from competitors, and the results have varied. I have always worried about the environmental impact these treatments might have. Mosquito Shield’s commitment to having the least environmental impact possible and their dedication to the customer sealed the deal for me and my family.”
While their certified professional technicians service our daily routes, you will find Paul in the van meeting new customers for first treatments, doing event treatments, and completing service calls.
Mindy was a competitive swimmer, swim coach, and trainer before she moved into managing gyms and then the automotive industry. She currently works for Porsche Cars North America and supports Mosquito Shield efforts in office management and social media marketing.
The Heaton family has lived all over the US. They decided to settle in the historic Riverside Neighborhood on the Upper Westside of Atlanta where they live with their dogs, Booker and Basil, and their cats, Tori and Kingston, who are all rescues. They are active in their Neighborhood association, which is why they chose this as their mosquito control business territory.
For fun, the Heatons enjoy the local restaurants and culture that the city has to offer. “We are foodies and love lots of restaurants.” They love the High Museum of Fine Art and the Georgia Aquarium. Paul plays in the Old Guys Lacrosse and other leagues. He also enjoys scuba diving. They also love to travel during the off season.
The Heatons support and are active in many local charities including the Soaring Owls Foundation at Bolton Academy, Habitat for Humanity, Lifeline Animal Project, Atlanta Humane Society, Atlanta Lab Rescue, and Distinguished Gentlemen’s Ride Atlanta.
