Owners Pete and Kecia Wolf both grew up in the twin cities of Texarkana, Arkansas and Texarkana, Texas with Pete graduating from Arkansas High School and Kecia graduating from Texas High School. The ArkLaTex is special to them because it is where their families are and is, quite simply, a great place to live. The winters are mild, the traffic is light, and there is a wide variety of things to do, from hunting and fishing to casinos and concerts.
Pete graduated from the University of Arkansas with a degree in Industrial Management and has been working at a local manufacturing plant for over 35 years. He is ready to begin a new phase in his career by working with Mosquito Shield and its environmentally friendly mosquito and tick control and prevention treatments. Kecia is equally excited to start this new venture and will be taking care of the accounting side of things, a perfect fit for her since she is a CPA. Kecia graduated with an accounting degree from Texas A&M-Texarkana and later earned her MBA there as well. She has spent the past 11 years working at an electric cooperative and is now the VP of Finance and Accounting & Member Services. This background in both accounting and member services will serve her well in the Mosquito Shield business. Customer service is extremely important to both Kecia and Pete and they are looking forward to offering their customers the best service possible as the perform the best mosquito and tick control services in the Ark-La-Tex region.
Kecia has always wanted to own her own business and Pete has always enjoyed spending as much time as possible outdoors. Mosquito Shield of Ark-La-Tex fills both their needs and, after meeting the Mosquito Shield corporate team, they knew that owning a Mosquito Shield franchise was the perfect choice for them. By providing the best mosquito and tick pest control service available in the Ark-La-Tex area, with top-notch customer service to people living in the area they love is a win-win for everyone in the Ark-La-Tex.
