We used to have a handful of mosquitos flock to us within minutes of being in our backyard, which is also on a lake. Since we’ve started the Mosquito Shield service, I’ve seen maybe 1 mosquito period. We’ve spent all summer at our pool enjoying a mosquito free backyard! Jose and his team are amazing! I was skeptical at first due to a bad experience I had the year before… but when Jose was highly referred to me I had to give it a chance since my kids and mosquitoes don’t do well together and we are NOT disappointed. It’s been amazing! Not a single bite since they’ve started. And just a shout out to Clay, he came out to do another treatment and truly went above and beyond. I had moved a couple items to my driveway I didn’t know if I wanted sprayed, and when I came back out after the treatment, I noticed Clay moved those items back for me!! Going the extra mile like that means a ton to me! It was not expected but Clay did it.

I just had my first application and extremely happy so far. The borders of my yard have a lot of dense foliage and trees and mosquitoes are extremely active. Spring and summer are miserable and can’t go out without getting bitten. They treated the entire yard and after one treatment I’m amazed with NO mosquitoes so far! It even rained last night and it is still working. Definitely going to keep the service

"My wife is allergic to many things and we were concerned that a mosquito spray would cause issues. We first called a competitor named ""Joe"" and they did not want to tell us what was in their spray nor would they help us with her allergies. We then called Jose and Jaime at Mosquito Shield of NW Atlanta, and not only did Jose come by the house and review all of the items that were in the compound, but after our first spray Jaime called my wife to make sure that she didn't have any adverse reaction to the mosquito spray. Wow, that's awesome customer service! The compound is garlic oil based and reduced the amount of mosquitos around our house, even under our deck where it usually stays pretty moist and is a breeding ground for mosquitos. We were amazed how well the product worked. They followed up every few applications to make sure that we were happy with the service and that it was working to keep the mosquitos away. We will definitely be signing up again in 2022 thanks to Jose and Jaime! Thank you for a great product and a great experience!"

    01. What other insects will this affect?
    We use an insecticide so other insects present when and where we spray may be impacted.

    However, our formula was specifically engineered for mosquitoes so it won’t repel any other insects as it does mosquitoes.
    02. Will the product kill plants, vegetables, or beneficial insects in my yard?

    We are incredibly conscious of what we do and realize how it can impact our environment if applied erroneously. That’s why our technicians are trained to recognize:

    • Vegetables
    • Beneficial insects like pollinators
    03. Will your product work after storms?
    Yes, we have specifically engineered our formula to outlast storms. With a special polymer layer that provides weather resistance, our formula will remain effective.
    04. Is there any environment you cannot treat?
    Yes, there are some areas we won’t spray to protect the surrounding environments. Pools, natural water sources, vegetable gardens, and artificial water sources complete the list.

    Because water could easily spread the insecticides, we never directly apply our product to it. However, the rest of the property can still be sprayed and it will drastically reduce the population of mosquitoes.
    05. Does this product work on all mosquitoes and ticks?
    Yes, we target aspects of mosquitoes and ticks that don’t change from species to species.

    The killing and repelling aspects of our product will work on any species of mosquitoes and ticks.
    06. Will the product harm my pets or children?
    Pets and children should be inside during each application. However, they can re-enter the property once the product has dried, roughly 10-15 minutes.

    At that point, there are no restrictions until the next application.
    07. When can I start to see the effects?
    Every yard is different but you should notice a dramatic reduction within 24-48 hours of the initial spray.

    With each subsequent treatment, the results continue to improve, allowing you to enjoy time outside without being chased in by swarms of mosquitoes.
    08. Why do we see more mosquitoes after it has rained?
    Mosquitoes are more abundant after it rains because standing water is where they breed.

    Adult, female mosquitoes will lay their eggs in water. Once fully submerged, the countdown begins and the eggs can hatch in as little as a few days.
