Our Guaranteed Protection Plan kills mosquitoes and begins the critical process of establishing a protective barrier on your property. Our proprietary Mosquito Protection Blend™ is applied around all active areas such as decks, patios, pools, swing sets, etc. We actively monitor mosquito populations and weather patterns and return to your property approximately every two weeks. Our proprietary Rain Shield™ is added for improved protection during wet weather conditions which allows the barrier to remain in effect. The protective barrier (assuming no applications are skipped), gets stronger as the season progresses.

Our Flea & Tick program is based on the same tireless work and effective science behind our mosquito control protection plan. This intensive Flea & Tick program was developed specifically to eliminate them within your property. In a process similar to that described for Mosquito Shield, our flea and tick formula is applied to all turf, wood lines, and landscape beds around your property to effectively kill fleas & ticks within those areas.

Meet The Franchise

At Mosquito Shield of Northwest Houston, Texas, our goal is to provide the best mosquito control with the highest levels of customer service, allowing our customers to enjoy their homes and time with family to the fullest.

Owner, Joseph Bosco, is leading the business aspects, but this team is a family affair. My children, Joseph and Marisa, are taking on big roles as technicians and marketers.

In 2015, I moved to Katy to pursue work in Houston’s oil and gas industry. I enjoy small town living but appreciate the close proximity to one of America’s largest cities. My wife, Deanna, works in “Old Katy” serving local and international families. I worked with people from around the world as well, selling software to oil and gas customers. Outside of work, we spend our time together as a family. We vacation in Galveston for the sprawling beaches, park festivals, and carnival rides. We absolutely love critiquing barbecue in different restaurants. And, we stay healthy as a family by walking and riding bikes in the north and west suburbs of Houston.

I have been in sales for 25 years and I understand the importance of the customer being satisfied. I realize that customer expectations are of prime importance. I receive a great sense of fulfillment whenever a customer says that a product I sold has performed to their satisfaction or better.

Some fun facts about our family: we like watching “Naked and Afraid” on television and we playfully suggest that we can do it, until there’s an episode where the contestants are being eaten alive by bugs – then we’re out! Joseph is preparing for his first ½ Ironman Triathlon and he often comes home from training with an absurd number of bites – no-one is ever surprised that he’s the family’s biggest advocate for mosquito control.

We KNOW that our business is a vital resource for the community. By early March, we noticed inch-long bodied mosquitoes, and Mosquito Shield is here to offer your family some relief.
