At Mosquito Shield of El Paso, our goal is to provide the best mosquito control with the highest levels of customer service, allowing our customers to enjoy your homes and time with family to the fullest.
Owners Sal & Alexis Sias both grew up in the El Paso area and have spent most of their lives and careers there. El Paso is a unique territory because of its location. They have warm sunny days most of the year which is second only to a culture of kindness and welcoming. They also border the New Mexico state lines as well as the Mexico border creating many multicultural exchanges and relationships with their bordering neighbors.
Alexis graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso with a Bachelors in Nursing. She has been a critical care nurse for 15 years working with their communities most critical patients in one of their local hospitals in various capacities (bedside nursing, clinical management, hospital administration). She has a kindness and insight to anticipate the needs and implement them for her patients’ best outcomes. Alexis is currently home caring for their two young children. Sal’s commitment to excel and grow have given him a thirst for knowledge. Sal graduated from the University of Tennessee with a Doctorate in Pharmacy and holds a Bachelors in Spanish and a Masters in Chemistry. He recently added an MBA to that list. Sal has worked as the Director of Pharmacy at a local hospital for the last 7 years. His ability to rapidly process information and his attention to detail is what makes him a critical component to their community.
When asked what attracted them to Mosquito Shield, “It was important for us to find a business that had a strong support and family feel to it. Since we are a young growing family, we understand the importance and need for families to be able to enjoy and utilize their outdoor space especially with the most recent implementations of the COVID-19 pandemic. We have an infant and toddler who are for all purposes “pandemic babies” and only know home and our backyard. For all those in our community, we want the best possible experiences, just as we do for our own family. We looked forward to owning our own business for some time and when we found Mosquito Shield it was a perfect fit for us. Our goal is to be the most trusted and exemplary mosquito control in our community and surrounding area.”
