Owners Tarek Hussain and Areeba Awan are happily married and have lived and working in South Florida for the past 15 years with their daughters. An interesting fact about our area is Davie is home to one of the largest wildlife parks, with animals native to Florida!
Tarek works full time as a financial advisor and Areeba as a Physician. As an advisor Tarek’s main strength has been serving clients and developing relationships. Areeba has been a caregiver and health care worker, empathy towards her patient’s wellbeing has always been her strength.
They both love spending time outdoors and exploring new areas as a family. One of their favorite local restaurants is Yard House, because it has a great collection of songs and food for everyone in the family to enjoy. They also love visiting the wildlife reserve, Flamingo Gardens, it has best collection of native birds!
When asked what attracted them to Mosquito Shield, “After going through the pandemic, we learned that spending time in your backyard with your family is invaluable. Being South Florida residents, we felt it was a natural fit, where we could help families have quality time at home.”

We use an insecticide so other insects present when and where we spray may be impacted.
However, our formula was specifically engineered for mosquitoes so it won’t repel any other insects as it does mosquitoes.
