Meet The Franchise

Mosquito Shield of Northwest Fort Worth was established in 2021 by Sam Bluntzer. Sam was raised in the Hill Country town of New Braunfels, TX, attended Texas A&M University and upon graduation entered the United States Marine Corps where he spent the next 11 years on active duty as an F/A-18 pilot. Sam moved to Fort Worth in 2011 and flew for the world-renowned VMFA-112 Cowboys until he retired in June of 2021. During his time in the reserves, Sam worked in the Oilfield Service industry. Sam is a member of the Fort Worth Stock Show Syndicate and the Weatherford Chamber of Commerce.

Whether in a Marine Corps flying squadron or the Oilfield Service industry, Sam has a lengthy and unique experience bringing together people and equipment to accomplish the mission every day. Sam believes in his community, its people and their ability to grow this wonderful area. He is honored to provide a service that allows families to enjoy quality time in their yards, pools and play areas without having to worry about pesky mosquitoes.
