Meet The Franchise

At Mosquito Shield of Greater Greensboro, our goal is to provide the best mosquito control with the highest levels of customer service, allowing our customers to enjoy your homes and time with family to the fullest.

Owners Cas Horton and Kevin Johnson met when they were 7 years old and have been like brothers since. Cas and his wife of 32 years, Marcia, have 3 beautiful children. Kevin and his wife of 26 tears, Andrea, also have 3 beautiful children. Cas has been the CEO (Pastor) of several churches where he has specialized in turning around struggling organizations and returning them to growth and stability. He has done this through leadership, honesty, integrity, and extreme hard work. His wife Marcia has been an active partner in the successes they’ve had all while caring for their son Levi who has been disabled due to a brain tumor. Cas will oversee operations and Marcia will be our Office Manager focusing on customer service, the daily routes, and doing our bookkeeping. Kevin will focus on marketing, accounting, and operational efficiencies.

Cas was raised on a dairy farm just outside of the Greater Greensboro area. His family also owned and operated a sawmill. He is no stranger to hard work. For the past 5 years he has lived right in the middle of the territory and is the Pastor of Christian View Pentecostal Holiness Church in Stoneville, NC. Cas, wife Marcia, and their three children are active in ministry and serving others in this community. Cas has experience in construction and has been a Pastor since 2001. He is skilled at counseling and interacting with people, budget balancing, and keeping a schedule. Honesty, integrity, and dependability will be the foundation of Mosquito Shield of Greater Greensboro.

Kevin grew up in Caswell County where his family raised tobacco and then moved into general contracting. He attended Bartlett Yancey High School and is a huge Tar Heel fan. They love the Piedmont area of North Carolina and believe there is no better place to live. Kevin has spent his career as a photonics engineer with a great deal of attention to detail. He has worked on corporate sales and marketing teams and is looking forward to bringing those experiences to their territory.
